 The National Senior Bowling Association started 2010 in roaring fashion as 96 bowlers filed into 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights on January 2. Ken Kossick, qualifying 23rd, from Commerce Twp. beat James Millen, Jr. of Redford, 221-193 to take home the first place check of $1,000 and the championship trophy.

To get to the finals, Ken beat Lance Williams from Sterling Heights, 216-193, Dennis Korkoske from E. Lansing, 185-183, Phil Horowitz of W. Bloomfield, 193-191 and Rick Schultz of Warren, 255-228.
Millen qualified 12th and proceeded to beat Tim Baker of Shelby Twp., 257-171, Rick Capaldi from Canton, 256-203, Enrico Odorico of Clinton Twp., 269-190 and Larry Walker from Garden city, 214-205. James received the runner-up check of $500 for his effort.
