 It took Ken Lang from Eastpointe, 3 years to get back into the winners circle as he defeated Leo Scantamburlo from Riverview, 225-197 to capture his second National Senior Bowling Association title. The tournament was held at 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights on January 14, 2012. Lang, qualifying 8th, defeated Joe Krajenke, Clinton Twp., 183-177, Ed DeBlock from Canada, 205-169 and Ron Burgess of Plymouth, 203-195 to advance to the final match.

 Dave Tulak from Taylor came away with an early holiday present as he won the December NSBA Holiday Classic held at Astro Lanes in Madison Heights. Tulak qualifying in the 2nd position, started strong as he beat Carl Wilson of Temperance, 289-209 and then proceeded with wins over Rick Parcshen from Strongsville, Ohio, 214-205,
